Paper Testing
- You can reschedule paper SSAT appointments to a new paper date and location, SSAT at Home, or a Prometric test.
- Paper rescheduling must be complete three full days before your original test date by 11:59 p.m. ET. For example, if your original test is on a Saturday, rescheduling must be complete by Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. ET.
- There is a fee for rescheduling a paper test.
- Reschedule on the “My Tests” page in your SSAT account.
SSAT at Home
- You may reschedule SSAT at Home appointments for free up to 72 hours before your test
- Rescheduling is done through your account online
- SSAT at Home appointments may not be changed to a Prometric or paper SSAT
- If your SSAT at Home was interrupted by a technical issues such as a internet or power outage, you will automatically have your account updated by noon the following day to allow you to change your test for free.
Prometric Testing
- Scheduling for any Prometric appointment closes 24 hour before that appointment.
- Reschedule Prometric SSAT appointments for free 29 days or more before the test date
- Prometric charges a $35 rescheduling fee between 28 and 3 days before the appointment
- Prometric appointments cannot be rescheduled under 3 days before the appointment
- Prometric tests cannot be changed to an SSAT at Home or paper SSAT
- Reschedule on the “My Tests” page in your SSAT account, or contact Prometric directly at 1-800-853-6769.
- After scheduling closes for the testing year, any unscheduled registration will be void and may not be used for a future testing year.
