For Paper-Based SSAT Testing (Standard and Flex tests)
No, the laptop is ONLY permitted to be used for the writing sample and will only be permissible for those students that have both applied and been approved for such permission in advance of registering for paper-based testing.
All multiple choice sections of the test will be completed using standard paper and pencil.
For Computer-Based SSAT Testing
Students will test using their own personal computer to complete all sections of the SSAT At-Home.
Students will test using a desktop computer for all sections of the SSAT when completing testing at Prometric. A computer will be provided by Prometric on test day and students will not be permitted use their own device at Prometric for any reason.
