What does private school tuition cover?

Tuition is the primary source of revenue for private schools to cover operating expenses, including faculty and staff salaries, professional development, educational programs and classroom materials, technology infrastructure, facilities and maintenance, and extracurricular enrichment activities.
Tuition alone typically doesn’t cover all expenses, and most schools operate annual funds and capital campaigns to offset rising educational costs, fund financial aid, and invest in new facilities.
Enrolled families also often incur additional school fees and expenses.
