Walker's Capabilities Approach Program
Our Capabilities Approach Program disrupts gendered mindsets to help girls realize their full potential as doers, thinkers, and creators. It nurtures in every student the idea that they have value in their own right; and ultimately have a responsibility to share that value with their community.
Walker's Equestrian Program
Our founder Ethel Walker was an avid equestrian who emphasized the necessity of developing character as well as intellect. Our program is rooted in pedagogy and our equestrian facilities are viewed as an extension of the classroom—not separate from it. Walker's trainers emphasize horsewomanship and mission-driven social and emotional learning.
Walker's Middle School
Since its inception in 1991, The Ethel Walker Middle School has always been a special place for our students. Its size allows the community to foster a meaningful sense of belonging while establishing a strong educational foundation that students take with them throughout high school and beyond.
